Automatic Forging Line

The automatic valve forging production line is composed of four electric upsetting machines,a press,a six-axis robot,a general control system and other auxiliary systems.Four electric upsetting machines and a press are arranged in a circular shape,and a six-axis robot is installed at the center of the circle.The valve bar materials to be processed are manually placed in the side hopper of the four sets of electric upsetting machines,and then sent to the electric upsetting machine for heating by the intermittently operated feeding system.
The hot upsetting is controlled by adjusting the electric upsetting parameters.
After the hot upsetting,the garlic product is taken out by the robot claw,and the garlic product is sent to the press die by the robot movement.
The press slider goes down to forge and press forming.
After the forging is completed,the press slider goes up.The charging mechanism will push the product half out of the die,and then the charging mechanism will take out the product.

Product Description


Fully automatic production line for valve forging consists of four sets electrical upsetting machine( EUM-30), one set press machine (JM31-200), one set six-axis robot , master control system one set and other assisted system. 


Four sets electrical upsetting machine and press machine into a circular distribution, six-axis robot in the center. Place the bar on the hopper of electrical upsetting machine by worker or vibration plate, then feeding system delivery the bar to the electrical upsetting machine for heating. After forging, manipulator of robot clamp the product, then put it on the press machine.


The production line has a production cycle of 8 seconds per unit.


Master Control System


1) The master control system control four sets electrical upsetting machine, one set press machine, one set robot using “bus” communication control.


2) The master control system can control the operation device stably. The production line can set cycle time according to different products. And with high efficiency. The order is controlled by program. If one electrical upsetting machine has default( will alarm ), the other machines also can run. Don’t affect the production.


3) Master control system can store the processing number, cumulative processing number. And display the qualified number and forging temperature and unqualified number. Can set and display initial temperature.  


4) The infrared measurement 100% detect the initial temperature for each product. Unqualified products will be put into waste basket automatically.


5) Press machine is equipped with infrared light curtain protection device. Protect the robot and operator. The sensor is mounted on the chute of reclaiming to ensure each products has been removed. If a products is not remove, the robot is no longer put workpiece to forging. At this time there are sound and light alarm, continue working after trouble free and reset.  


6) Can be set to any number of electric upsetting machine to participate in automatic circulation, any one to withdraw or replace the tooling or maintenance, does not affect the production efficiency.


7) Completely eliminates the issue of two machines processing simultaneously.
